Calling All Volunteers!

Polk County Democrats Need You!

Check out Current Volunteer Opportunities!

Welcome!
People on the Polk Dems contact list participate in many ways, from reading the newsletter to working on projects and campaigns. There's something interesting and valuable for everyone to do.

First, we want to honor your preferences for

how your information is stored and for how we contact you. Here are the three possibilities.

ONLINE DATABASE
Click on the VOLUNTEEER badge below and sign up.
We will send you notifications of meetings, the newsletter, and occasional action emails. We try to keep the number of emails to one or two a month.
If you indicate a wish to volunteer, a Polk Dem member will get in touch with you, or better yet, come to a meeting and see what's happening!

Privacy:  Only the organizations you choose (Polk County and/or Oregon Democrats) will have access to your information and will be able to create lists with your information. No other county, organization, or candidate has access to your information in list form unless you expressly indicate that preference. You will notice a box at the bottom of the form that gives you the choice of subscribing to the DPO newsletter and receiving information from them as well. You can indicate a wish to work for candidates on the form.

PHONE TREE. If you would rather be notified by phone, you can email our contact list manager, Suzanne Price
and  she will give your name to Kathy Smits, who is the phone tree chair.
You will receive one phone call a month, announcing the next meeting and other news.
Your contact information will be kept only on one Polk Dems database file on a home computer. It will not be uploaded online at any time.
Some people chose both phone tree and email notification, and that is fine.

MAILING LIST
If you want only occasional contact, email Suzanne Price
and ask to be placed on the mailing list. Since our mailings are few, you will be contacted only once or twice a year, with major changes, or with particular volunteer opportunities that you have indicated an interest in.

Our list of current volunteer opportunities gets updated regularly. If you would like to help, please contact the person for each activity.  Check back here to see what new volunteer activities are available.
